Watercolorist, Judy Howard-Reese, is a Denver native. She studied art at Colorado State University and the University of Colorado. Although her interest in painting spans several decades, it is only since 2000 that her interest in watercolor has evolved.
When not working in her home studio she paints with friends and fellow artists, the "Painters Five" group. Classes and workshops keep her style and skills improving. More recent study under Stephen Quiller, Ken Hosmer, and Frank Francese, has been particularly significant in the development of her current style.
She has enjoyed participation in a number of juried and non-juried exhibitions in the Denver, Colorado Springs, and San Diego areas.
Currently she is a member of the Foothills Art Center; and enjoys signature membership in the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Greater Castle Rock Art Guild.
